Start early from Chandigarh towards Rishikesh, approximately 8–10 hours drive. For comfortable travel, you can hire a private taxi or rent a tempo traveller, especially if traveling in a group. Upon arrival, relax and explore the riverside area. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath or Govindghat (~9–10 hours). This mountain route is best covered with an experienced hill driver. Taxis and tempo travellers are widely available. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Govindghat or Joshimath.

Begin your trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria (13 km). For those who prefer, ponies and palkis are available to carry pilgrims. Check into your guesthouse or campsite at Ghangaria and rest for the next day’s trek.

Start early for the 6 km uphill trek to Hemkunt Sahib Gurudwara. Perform prayers and enjoy the serene Himalayan views. Return to Ghangaria the same day. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Trek back to Govindghat and continue by road to Joshimath. Taxis and tempo travellers are available for smooth travel on mountain roads. Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Drive back to Rishikesh (~9 hours). Enjoy the scenic mountains and valleys along the route. You can use a taxi or tempo traveller for group comfort. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Start the return journey to Chandigarh (~8–10 hours). You can continue with the same rented vehicle or hire a new taxi/tempo traveller. End of your spiritual trek journey.
