Start early from Delhi towards Haridwar (approx. 6–7 hours). For comfortable travel, you can hire a private taxi or rent a tempo traveller depending on your group size. Upon arrival, attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Drive from Haridwar to Barkot (~9–10 hours) along scenic mountain roads. Taxis and tempo travellers are available for this long hill drive. Overnight stay in Barkot, preparing for the Yamunotri trek.
Drive to Janki Chatti (base point) and begin the 5–6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Ponies or palkis are available for assistance. After darshan, return to Barkot for overnight stay.
Drive to Uttarkashi (approx. 4–5 hours). Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple upon arrival. Taxis and tempo travellers are available for comfortable travel in the hilly region. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Drive to Gangotri Temple (~100 km). After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay. Hiring a taxi or tempo traveller is recommended for the mountainous route.
Travel to Guptkashi (~8–9 hours). This is a longer mountain drive; a tempo traveller is ideal for group comfort, while taxis are good for smaller groups. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Drive to Sonprayag, then proceed to Gaurikund. Trek 16–18 km to Kedarnath Temple. Ponies, palkis, and helicopter options are available. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Trek down to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi. Your taxi or tempo traveller will be waiting for a smooth journey. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Drive to Badrinath Temple (~7–8 hours) passing through Panch Prayag. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Morning darshan at Badrinath Temple followed by visit to Mana Village. Taxis or tempo travellers can be used for local sightseeing. Overnight stay in Badrinath/Joshimath.
Drive from Badrinath to Rishikesh (~9–10 hours). Taxis and tempo travellers are available for a comfortable descent. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Return to Delhi (~10–12 hours). Continue with the same vehicle or hire a new taxi/tempo traveller. End of Char Dham Darshan tour.
