Start your journey early from Amritsar towards Rishikesh, which takes around 10–12 hours. For this long drive, you can hire a private taxi or rent a tempo traveller depending on your group size. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath or Govindghat (~10 hrs). This route passes through beautiful mountains and valleys. Hiring a taxi or a tempo traveller with an experienced hill driver is recommended for safety and comfort. Overnight stay at Govindghat.

From Govindghat, start your trek to Ghangaria (13 km trek). Ponies or palkis are available to assist pilgrims along the trek. Reach Ghangaria and check into your guesthouse or camp. Rest and acclimatize for the next day’s trek.

Start early for the 6 km uphill trek to Hemkunt Sahib Gurudwara. Spend time at the holy shrine, perform prayers, and take in the breathtaking views. Return to Ghangaria the same day. Overnight stay at Ghangaria.

Trek back to Govindghat and then drive to Joshimath for overnight stay. Taxis and tempo travellers are available to take you comfortably down the mountain roads.

Drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh (~9–10 hrs). Enjoy the scenic drive with stops for photography or local sightseeing. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Start early for the return journey to Amritsar (~10–12 hrs). You can continue with the same taxi or tempo traveller used for the onward journey. End of your Hemkunt Sahib Spiritual Trek.
